TEBOW JETTED OUT !!!!

WOW THAT WAS QUICK!!!!! Hands up who saw that trade happening and going through so swiftly .It was a wham bam thank you mam trade. Tim Tebow is now a Jet and the Tebowing machine rolls into New York. The trade ,all in the 2012 draft is the Broncos will receive fourth- and sixth-round draft picks, while New York gets a seventh-rounder.
My concern in all this is that if Manning gets hurt ,then we are up the creek and no paddle.John Elway was asked if this happens then what is plan A and he replied that Manning is plan A and we dont have a plan B. Now that scares the hebegeebies out of me if I'm honest. He took us from 1-4 to the AFC West title. Tebow's base salaries for the next few seasons are very cap friendly: $1.942 million in 2012, $2.266 million in 2013 and $2.590 million in 2014  something else that clearly appealed to the Jets.
Where do we go now,will we draft and mentor a QB ? Do we pick someone like Vince Young? It is and will be a rollercoaster for a few more weeks Im sure. Well alls I can do is wish Tebow all the best apart from if affects us.
Its officially Manning time- $96 million over five years.Im not sure where I read it but someone wrote "Elway has sacraficed a virgin to win win the superbowl" ,made me chuckle though :)

Well after listening to the radio agnew interview on Lancs the other night I am still shocked at the attempted brainwashing by these Venky puppets. Ive never heard as much bullshit apart from every time the cocknosedpolishedturd Venkean talks. Do these clowns really hand on heart think rovers fans are thick and as stupid as the 2012 burnley mastermind champion or what?
It would appear to me that no matter what people say about protesting and stuff that (well hunt with a c and agnew with no balls,at least) are worrying about the affect that non renewing season ticket holders next season will have on the club.Why cant these people get it through there thick brainwashed feathered minds that the venkys are hated and ridiculed for what they have done to our team.WHY THE CLUCK DO THEY NOT GET IT?  they talked of the silent lord lucanesque owners spending fortunes on getting what im presuming is some sort of dodgy stream to watch the games.Well all I can say to that is WHOOPY FUCKING DOO!!!!!  They talked of them being excited about owning us,well id hate to see what and how they would treat us if they didn't care.
They hinted at cheap tickets but I know a lot of folk who wont renew whilst the chicken dippers still own us.My own view is that its a drug and I will still renew because my lad still persuades me to take him. I'm at that stage though that if I don't renew I wont ever come back and that's one of my main reasons. I still cant believe the "divide and conquer" tactics of the owners and management,What REALLY is there end game and plan? Is the crap that's coming on the fans being passed down from the dippers really ? are they aware of it? or is it the higher management IN ewood just scared of losing there jobs that they are just putting a ring fence up of us and them? TEBOW ,MANNING OR BOTH?

Well and rumour train rattles along the NFL track and its not intending to stop at any stations for fuel.It appears to be a runaway train and going at break neck speeds. Denver papers, worldwide blogs,radio and TV are all screaming Manning is a seriously strong contender in the race for "daddies boy" and his circusesque entourage. Why? hes 36 ,if I recollect correctly and got 1-3 seasons left .
The rumours are saying "if" he arrives in the neck pony land that he is already a respecter of Coach Fox and he will be given total control of how the O system and play book.It is also being told that if he does come then Tebowmania will traded ,with the Dolphins being a likely destination.
My thoughts are .. How do I suddenly start rooting for a person Ive ripped and took the you know what out of for the last decade or more?
Pros  are -: He would bring a vast amount of unique experience and imagine the knowledge that he could pass on to Tim Tebow and mix that with a mix of God ,er Elway and BOOOOOM !!!
He could make more plays and revamp our offence big time,we could mix pass and rush.

Negs...I don't like him, he could get Tebow traded and then Manning could end up with a career ending injury soon into the season and then all our eggs in one omelette would be shell laden.
He could cause rifts thru the entire off coaches due to his "alone ..my way style" so to speak.

WILL   he be a Bronco? Personally I cant see it happening and if he does I really hope it doesn't mean Tebow leaving and that Manning is used as a player/coach type of role.Would Manning do this ?  I have no idea .
All in all though LETS SIGN MARIO WILLIAMS!!!

If you have not yet seen Friday Night Lights ,you have or are missing an amazing powerful TV programme that doesn't pull any punches .Its rife with heartache ,sport and deals with racism. I read the book whilst I was on holiday and it was a "not" put down book and I read every page within a couple of days. So far Ive seen the first three episodes of season one and its as intense and as powerful as the book was. I cant believe this series escaped my attention until now but you can bet your last penny I am now all over it and its 100% locked on series link.

A question or two now for my American friends , I believe its a true story if I remember correctly in my drunken , relaxed holiday mode.Is it a hard fact true story or loosely based on truth ? You see many programmes that say "based " on a true story yet there usually comes a story ,that its nothing like or nowhere the truth.

Over here in the UK when I was at school back in ahemmmmmahemmmmm cough cough shhhhhh 1983 (now that's between thee n me pal :) ) it was nothing like High Schools in the USA appear to be.Are towns solely addicted to High School Football like in this programme? In the series everyone and everything is based and lives primarily for the school team ,is it  really so intense and do teams really attract so much media interest on TV and radio? Do schools really hire head coaches just for a school team and is there so much emphasis on sport at schools?

By comparison over here a school (well back in my day,not sure how different it is now) will have  PE teachers and a head PE teacher and they will teach football (soccer to my American readers) ,cricket,rugby ,gymnastics,volleyball and say athletics's. We would get a couple of hours a week in whichever subject it was at the time and off we would go. We would,if we wanted to do after school training for football and cricket etc and the teachers would do this voluntarily ( I think they still do ). If you got selected for the football or say cricket team you would play and there would be one man and his dog ,if you were lucky watching not the huge crowds America seems to get.

When I see the programme I find myself thinking  how different our countries are in both coaching standard's and after school life ,here there is none of every member of a the team having fans ,groupies and hangers on that are  all out in the same burger/ice-cream parlour.
